Hi All!
There is only one week left to register for the Emerging Women Midwest Gathering. There are a handful of spots still open, so pass the word on and sign up before it's too late. This should be a really fun gathering and I'm looking forward to getting to know some of you Emerging Women more personally.
Book discussion news. For those who like to plan ahead - we've put up the book selection for May - Sex God by Rob Bell. It's new, it's popular, and we get to talk about sex. Anyway, just a head's up on the April book Colossians Remixed - this book is long and at points really intellectual, but don't let that scare you. It makes use of different approaches to theology to get its point across. It is divided into three sections. The first is more historical and theological. The second is philosophical. And the third is practical and makes use of narrative theology and midrash. The whole book is great, but if part one or two seem daunting, I recommend skipping to part three.
And for those who are interested - there is now an Emerging Women group on Facebook.
As for posts of note from this past week -

Check out the reflection on St. David over at Eternal Echoes.
