This blog is a space for women involved in the emerging church conversation to use their voice. This is a space to voice your thoughts, express your opinions, and practice your theology. This is a safe community where we can complain, deconstruct, brainstorm, network, dream, and encourage. Let your voice be heard.
I wrote a story, inspired and motivated by discussions with some of you about the need for different kinds of fairy tales to tell our little princesses. It's up at The Ooze under the title, Ariana and the Magic Cupcakes.
BEAUTIFUL story. I love the fact that your princess not only didn't need "rescued", but learned an important life lesson: that we don't treat other people badly just to keep our status, save face, or become popular in a certain group. It is, unfortunately, a lesson that even some of us grown-ups have yet to learn.
