New Emerging Look

Hello all. So the blog looks a bit different. Honestly I was tired of the "Mean Green Blogging Machine" template we had been using. I wanted something more unique, artistic, and reminiscent of "emerging women" (that was also free!). I found this template and thought The Birth of Venus was a great symbol for this conversation. So I (who know very very little html) decided to switch. I'm still working out details (like spacings and font sizes...), but this is the basic look.

But I want to know what you all think. Do you like this look? Did you like the green look better? Would something else entirely be better? Have you found any code issues? Is it readable? Do the fonts come through in a "neat and balanced" way on your screen? Let me know. This is a community blog and I need the community's input. Thanks!

I like the 'feel', but its a bit harder to read (for me).

the reading thing - what is the issue exactly. The fonts themselves or the size? Or the colors?

Also I'm wondering if these fonts are universal. It uses "Dragon" "Invitation" and "Book Antiqua". If you don't have those fonts I think it will revert to "Times New Roman" - and I'm not sure how that would look (if its readable). So please let me know about readability and if the words seemed spaced correctly on your computer!

Colors and size. (sorry!) Not sure if the color is black or if there is a subtle difference.

I agree with the font comment. I am finding it too small.

So I increased the font size and added more padding around the words. Is it easier to read? The color is a dark brown and would be harder to change, but is within the realm of possibilities. Is it still hard to read with the bigger font?

I have heard that the title script doesn't go through on some computers, so I'm trying to find a more universal font for that...
