The purpose of church...
... is to objectify women???
This is just so wrong. And yes, apparently
is a real church.

Wow -- that's just stunning. Where in the world did you find this? Please say it isn't running in public in Chicago. :-)
Eeeuuuwww! Who the heck is the creepy guy with the lothario look? This ad is using sex to get people to church!!!! Absolutely hilarious and totally wrong!! Please tell me it's a joke.
uh..I think I need to vomit.
And what's with the giggolo look? And is the pastor's wife OK being used as a lure? And do you really want men coming to church to "score" a hot wife? Yuck...yuck...and yuck.
This is sick...
Something else sick: please see the battle I'm fighting to get a man who advocates violence against women off blogger. could you do a post and encourage your readers to sign my petition to end the hate? Thank you. Robin Steele http://robinsteele.blogspot.com
My first thought: It's satire aimed at churches who try too hard to be "cool."
My second thought: Maybe not? But who would make such a blatantly demeaning video in this day in age? Seriously - were there no staff members around to warn them about how this might come across? I wonder how the men who made this video would feel if they were treated as people whose main (only?) value is as a sex object?
Apparently they also made
this video. How making fun of people would attract people to their church is beyond me. I think these are only up on YouTube, but I'm not for sure.
I am speechless! Between this video objectifying women, and another that makes fun of Britny Spears -- it is clear that this church has lost its way by hiring "the Enemy" for public relations. If you visit its webpage: (http://ourcitychurch.com/)and check out its contact us page -- the largest picture on the page is of the person in charge of P.R. What does THAT say.
I emailed them to express my outrage and offer them prayers. Maybe if others did the same, they MIGHT hear it. Peace, Don <><
I think this guy was not really comfortable with his message, either. I'm sure he was trying to be "real" but his speech was very choppy and what was going on with his hands/arms/shoulders/neck? Bobblehead audition? Either consciously or sub-, he was somewhat uneasy.
That's just appalling. The second is worse than the first (if possible). Trying too hard to be "cool?" Maybe. Not honoring God -- certainly.
... and Julie that Britney vid is even worse, who are these people????
I read on the ooze that this link has been taken down off of city church's website. That's a relief.
