    Thanks for the spiffy post!
It was a pleasure to meet Sarah and to meet your husband at Seattle Off the Map earlier this month. Looking forward to meeting you in January!

I asked Deborah Loyd (one of the organizers) about this before there was any information on the Web. The way she described it, it sounds like this will be structured around a series of conversation similar to the Emergent Gathering that meets every October in New Mexico. I had an opportunity to attend that a year ago and it was AWESOME!

If I am hearing correctly, it means at this Convergentce, no one will be talking at you as an authority or expert. It means your voice is significant. It means the format will encourage others to listen to what you have to say and we will have an opportunity to learn from eachother. It also means a free flowing exchange of ideas and dialog.

The format I observed in in NM facilitated and encouraged us to develop some really great relationships. Now that opportunity is coming to the Pacific NW where we can connect with other women learning to lead and live in an emerging culture. HOW COOL IS THAT?!

Now a question or two… Have any of you been to the Edgewood Manor? I’m especially interested if you traveled there with an infant. Did they have the amenities you needed? (Changing tables etc.) Are there sinks in the rooms? Would you recommend choosing another location with a restroom inside the room versus down the hall? You can write to VerticalChallange at gmail dot com.

    Thank You!
