Pam Hogeweide and Erin Word put in a lot of time and hard work to edit and produce this collection of writing by women. Some of the selections are part of the June issue of Porpoise Diving Life, but all of them are included on the brand new blog Faith in a Dress where the writing is listed by title or author. I'm excited about this offering of women's voices. Gathering the women and learning from their experience is a necessary and blessed event. Thanks to Pam and Erin for their efforts!

Wow, what a great job. I'm impressed!
On a sillier note, I was half-expecting your post to be somehow related to the character Faith from Buffy the Vampire Slayer (Emerging Women: go rent this series if you've yet to see it. It's great TV!)
I couldn't understand why Faith would wear a dress, though, and assumed that it was some sort of reference to her trying to act in a more traditionally "feminine" manner (i.e. quiet, demure, etc.) And I have to admit that I was a little pissed at the thought of her trying to be something she isn't in order to please someone else, especially in light of recent conversations we've had around here regarding society's often strict expectations of how a man or a woman is suppose to act, dress, etc.
Ok, I'll stop hijacking your post now and finish reading the Faith in a Dress entries. :)
